To qualify for Medicaid, a person must be under the age of 21 or over the age of 65.
If a person is over the age of 21 and under the age of 65, to qualify for Medicaid, he/she is only eligible if he/she is:
- Disabled, as defined by the Social Security Administration;
- Blind;
- Eligible for public assistance; or
- A recipient of Supplemental Security Income.
